We take 5 new clients a month. When a month is full, we say so.

Your buyer stopped searching. They started asking.

Someone types "best commercial roofer in Austin" into ChatGPT and gets three names. No ten blue links, no page two, no auction. Either you are one of the three or you were never in the room. We do the technical work that puts you in Google's results and inside the AI's answer — because it is the same work.

The short answer

AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization. It is the practice of structuring a website so that AI assistants — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers — can read it, trust it and name the business inside the answer when someone asks them for a recommendation. Traditional SEO earns you a blue link in a list of ten, where you still have to win the click. AEO earns you a sentence in the answer, where there is no list to be tenth in.

In practice, AEO and SEO come out of the same body of technical work: clean semantic HTML, structured data (schema markup), machine-readable files such as llms.txt, and content written as explicit questions and answers with sourceable numbers. Reyter does this as a one-time overhaul from $3,497, with optional ongoing maintenance from $497 a month and no lock-in. Technical implementation takes 10 to 20 business days; AI citations tend to follow within weeks; organic rankings move over one to three months. No agency can guarantee a ranking position or an AI citation, and we do not.

A link is a request. An answer is a recommendation.

The two surfaces behave completely differently, and the difference is worth understanding before you spend anything on either.

1

The blue link: you are one of ten, and you still have to sell

Classic search results are a menu. Ranking third means you exist alongside nine competitors, an ad block and a map pack. You get the click if your title is better than theirs. That is still worth having — it is free, durable traffic — but it is a shortlist, not an endorsement.

2

The answer: three names, no auction, no second page

Ask an assistant "who should I hire for X in Denver" and you get a short paragraph naming two or three businesses, often with a reason attached. There is no position eleven. The buyer usually acts on that answer without opening a browser tab. Being named is closer to a referral than to a search result — and no one can outbid you for it.

Machines read structure, not adjectives

A language model does not get persuaded. It parses. "Industry-leading, world-class, passionate about excellence" carries exactly zero information it can use. What it can use: schema markup that labels you as a business with a service, a price and a service area; clean HTML with a real heading hierarchy; explicit question-and-answer blocks it can quote without paraphrasing; concrete numbers it can attribute. Most sites are written entirely in the first language and contain almost none of the second.

Same work · both outcomes

This is why we sell one service and not two. The schema that gets you a rich result in Google is the schema an assistant reads to describe you accurately. The FAQ that earns a featured snippet is the FAQ a model quotes verbatim. You pay for one pass and two surfaces improve. The longer guide to AEO is here →

What you actually get

A complete pass on the site you already have. Not a monthly drip of "SEO activity" with no defined endpoint.

  • Technical SEO. Speed, mobile rendering, heading hierarchy, titles and meta descriptions, internal linking, sitemap, robots directives, canonicals, index bloat. The foundation everything else sits on, and the thing most sites quietly fail.
  • Structured data (schema markup). Invisible code that tells a machine "this is a business, this is a service, this is a price, this is a question and this is its answer." It is what turns you into a rich result in Google and a citable source for an AI.
  • AI-readable files, including llms.txt. A clean, plain-language summary of what you do, for whom, where and at what price, published where language models can find it. Very few sites in any US market have one today.
  • Content and FAQ rewritten answer-first. Key pages restructured so the answer comes before the throat-clearing, in explicit question-and-answer form, with real numbers rather than adjectives. This is the format models lift word for word.
  • Schema aligned to visible content, word for word. If the markup and the page disagree, search engines discount it and assistants misquote you. We keep them identical — which is tedious and is exactly why most sites do not.
  • A diagnostic report with priorities. What was wrong, what we fixed, and what is worth doing next in order of return. Written in sentences, without jargon, so you could hand it to another agency if you ever wanted to.
  • All of it in your name. The improvements live in your site, on your domain, in your platform. Nothing is licensed to you and nothing switches off when you stop paying us.

Test the method on us, right now

We do not have a portfolio of anonymous screenshots to show you, and we are not going to invent one. What we have is this: Reyter's own site is built with exactly the work described above. Open ChatGPT or Perplexity and ask it what Reyter is, what it charges, or who runs it. Then judge for yourself how well the machine understood a business it has never been told about by a human.

  • Structured data on every page — organization, service, offers with real prices, and FAQ markup that mirrors the visible text exactly.
  • An llms.txt file summarizing the business in plain language for models that look for one.
  • Answer-first content — blocks like the one near the top of this page, written to be quotable in a single lift.
  • Explicit, sourceable numbers — published prices, stated timelines, named trade-offs. Models cite specifics and skip adjectives.
  • Fast, semantic, mobile-first HTML — the unglamorous base layer under all of it.

To be precise about what this is: a demonstration of the method on our own property, not a client case study, and not a promise that your site will produce the same outcome. Different market, different competition, different starting point. It is evidence that the work is real and that we do it to ourselves before we bill anyone for it — nothing more than that, and nothing less.

Gabriel Facenda

“Technical SEO and writing for machines were routine where I worked, years before anyone called it AEO. The novelty is not the technique. It is that the thing reading your site now talks back to your customer.”

The honest timeline

Stated up front because it is the single most common reason this service is the wrong purchase. Nothing here happens this week.

  1. Days 1–5 — the diagnostic

A full read of the site as a machine sees it: crawl, render, schema, speed, structure, and what assistants currently say about you when asked. You get the findings whether or not you proceed past this point.

  2. Days 5–20 — implementation

Technical fixes, structured data, the AI-readable file layer, and the content and FAQ rewrite. Ten to twenty business days end to end, depending on how many pages the site has and how much of the copy needs rewriting.

  3. Weeks after launch — AI citations

Assistants that browse the live web read your site fresh rather than from a training snapshot, so this is the fastest of the organic surfaces to change. It is still weeks, not days, and it is a tendency rather than a guarantee.

  4. Months one to three — organic rankings

Google moves slowly on purpose. Positions shift over one to three months as the crawl catches up and the structural changes accumulate. If you need revenue inside 30 days, this is the wrong line item — see the section below.

One price to fix it, one optional price to keep it

The overhaul is a finished piece of work with a defined end. The retainer exists because organic position is not static — not because we want you subscribed.

SEO + AEO overhaul

From $3,497

One time. Diagnostic plus full implementation: technical SEO, structured data, AI-readable files, content and FAQ, and the priority report. 10 to 20 business days.

Website build

From $2,497

When the existing site is slow or broken enough that fixing it costs more than replacing it, this is the cheaper honest answer. Ships already structured for both surfaces. Details here.

Maintenance

Keep the position you bought.

Optional, and only worth it in a competitive market or where you want new content published continuously.

$497 /mo

Month to month. Ten days' notice, no penalty.

  • New content published on a fixed cadence, not when someone remembers
  • Rank and citation monitoring — what Google shows and what assistants say
  • Schema and AI-file updates as the models and Google's systems change
  • Technical regressions caught before they cost you position

When to skip it If your market is quiet and your site is not going to change much, the overhaul alone holds up fine for a while. Start without it. You can add it any month, and cancel with 10 days' notice.

Prices in USD. The overhaul is one-time; the retainer is month to month with 10 days' notice and no penalty. There is a contract — one page, published before you talk to us. Full price list on the pricing page.

Who this is not for

This service has a specific shape and it does not fit everyone. Four cases where we will tell you to spend the money somewhere else.

You need revenue in the next 30 days

Then buy ads, not this. Google Search can put you in front of existing demand within 24 to 48 hours; organic takes one to three months and AI citations take weeks. Plans start at $1,200 a month. Come back for the organic layer once the near term is covered — that ordering is not a sales sequence, it is just arithmetic about cash.

Nobody is searching for what you sell

Organic and AEO both harvest demand that already exists in the form of a question. If your category is genuinely new and nobody is asking about it yet, no amount of schema creates the question. That is a demand-creation problem, which is Meta's job, not this one.

You want a guaranteed position

We will not sell you one, and anyone who does is selling you a number they cannot control. Google's systems and the AI models are third parties with their own incentives. We control the input quality and we show you exactly what changed. If the guarantee is the deciding factor, we are not the right vendor.

The site converts nobody once they arrive

More visibility into a page that does not convert produces more visitors and the same revenue, with a larger bill. If you already get traffic and almost no inquiries, fix the page first — a landing page from $997 or a site from $2,497 — then make it visible.

What you are actually risking

One month's fee and a 30-minute call. That is the entire downside.

  • No minimum term. Month to month from the first day, not after some introductory period.
  • No cancellation penalty. Ten days' written notice, either direction, no reason required.
  • Nothing to unwind. The accounts are already yours. Leaving means removing our access, not rebuilding from zero.
  • Terms public before you commit. Read them here — the whole agreement, not a summary.

What we will not do is promise a number. Anyone who guarantees you a specific result in paid media is either guessing or lying, and both cost you the same.

Questions people actually ask

What do I actually receive when the overhaul is done?

Working files on your own site, not a slide deck. Technical SEO fixes applied, structured data implemented and validated, an llms.txt written for your business, page content and an FAQ rewritten in the answer-first format assistants quote, and a diagnostic report listing what was broken, what was changed and what we deliberately left alone. Everything lives on your site and stays yours — if you stop working with us the following month, none of it is removed. For what AEO is and how answer engines choose sources, our full guide covers it properly.

How much does the SEO + AEO overhaul cost?

The overhaul is from $3,497, paid once. Ongoing maintenance is optional, from $497 a month, month to month with 10 days' notice and no penalty. Most people start with the overhaul alone and decide about upkeep once they can see what it produced.

How long before I see results?

Technical implementation takes 10 to 20 business days. Citations from AI assistants that browse the live web tend to follow within weeks, because they read your site fresh rather than from a training snapshot. Organic rankings in Google move over one to three months. This is a medium-term investment, not a switch, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.

Do I need the $497 a month maintenance?

Not necessarily. The overhaul is a complete piece of work and it stands on its own. Maintenance is worth it if your market is competitive or if you want new content published continuously, because both Google's ranking systems and the AI models change often and organic position is not static. If you are unsure, start without it — you can add it later and cancel with 10 days' notice.

Do you rebuild my site or work on the one I already have?

We work on the site you already have, on your platform, on your domain. The improvements live in your code and stay yours. If the existing site is so slow or so broken that fixing it costs more than replacing it, we will say so and quote a website build from $2,497 instead — that is a cheaper honest answer, not an upsell.

Can you guarantee I will rank first, or that ChatGPT will recommend me?

No. Nobody controls Google's ranking systems or what a language model chooses to cite, and any agency promising you a position is either guessing or lying. What we control is the input: whether your site is technically sound, structured, explicit about what you do, and easy for a machine to quote accurately. We do that work and we show you exactly what changed.

Find out what a machine currently thinks you do

Six questions about your site, your market and your timeline. You get a specific recommendation — including the one where the honest answer is "buy ads first and come back for this in six months."

Book the 30-minute call instead

No sales sequence and no pressure on the call. If organic is the wrong purchase for your situation right now, we will say so and tell you what is not.
